Welcome to JuJu Paranormal! Whether you're a seasoned investigator or just curious about the paranormal, this guide will help you get started with the most advanced mobile paranormal investigation app ever created.

Your First Investigation

When you first open JuJu, you'll meet Michael, your AI paranormal investigator. Michael is ready to help you from the moment you launch the app. He can analyze sensor data, answer questions about your investigation, and provide real-time insights.

Step 1: Calibrate Your Sensors

Before you begin, it's important to calibrate your sensors. This establishes a baseline for your environment, which helps Michael and the app distinguish between normal environmental readings and potential anomalies.

How to calibrate:

Go to the Sensors screen
Tap the calibration icon (tune symbol) in the top-left
Hold your device still for a few seconds
Wait for the "Calibration Complete" confirmation

Why this matters: Calibration ensures accurate readings. Without it, normal environmental factors (like HVAC systems or electrical interference) might be mistaken for paranormal activity.

Step 2: Choose Your Investigation Mode

JuJu offers several ways to investigate:

EVP Recording: Capture Electronic Voice Phenomena with professional-grade audio tools
Photo Capture: Use our advanced 5-orb sensor visualization to capture anomalies at the perfect moment
Video Recording: Record with real-time EMF heat maps and anomaly indicators

Once you're at your location:

Open the app and let Michael know where you are

Review your evidence in the Evidence Gallery

Understanding Michael's Personalities

Michael has three distinct personality modes, each offering a different perspective:

Normal Mode: Balanced analysis, helpful and informative
Scientist Mode: Data-driven, skeptical, focuses on logical explanations
Dramatic Mode: Enthusiastic, treats everything as potentially paranormal (but still uses real data!)

You can switch between modes in Settings → App Settings → Michael Personality Mode.

Start simple: Begin with basic sensor monitoring before diving into advanced features
Be patient: Paranormal investigation requires time and patience
Document everything: Use the app's built-in notes feature to record your observations
