5,000+ shared field sessions — this has never been done before
Published: August 25, 2026
Hi everyone,
This one is a big deal. Not a marketing "big deal." An actual first.
You — this community — just crossed 5,000 opt-in field sessions into a shared research pool. Same app. Same rough protocol. Anonymous sensor summaries. Location rounded to about 100 meters. No photos, no video, no EVP audio uploaded. And for the first time we can show it live on the Members Hot Zone Map: community activity layered with historic sites.
Nobody has built a worldwide, opt-in, phone-based paranormal field dataset like this and put the density on a map for the people collecting it. Paranormal work has always been stories, one-off nights, and debates that go nowhere because the data never stacked up. You are changing that.
The public goal is still 50,000. We are early. But 5,000 is not nothing — it is the moment the pile gets real.
What this means scientifically (keep it real)
Here is the honest, exciting version:
What we have now is a growing set of field measurements from people who chose to share — timestamps, sensor summaries, coarse location. At a few thousand sessions, we can start seeing where investigation activity concentrates, and whether interesting patterns hold across nights and places instead of living and dying as campfire stories.
What we do not have yet is proof. Sensor spikes are data points. They are not "ghost confirmed." We will not fake a conclusion to make a headline.
But here is why this matters: if anomalous patterns are real — repeatable across independent investigators, locations, and time — this is the kind of dataset that could finally put that question under real scrutiny. For all we know, JuJu and this community are the ones who get there. Or we find noise, environment, and human pattern-seeking. Either answer is progress. The point of science is to find out, not to cosplay certainty.
Why 50,000? Sample size. Denser coverage means cleaner comparisons, stronger pattern checks, and less "one crew had a weird night." Crossing 5,000 is a milestone on that road — not the finish line. Keep going.

15,000+ downloads on Google Play
Android just passed 15,000 downloads on Google Play. For a niche investigation tool from a small team, that is huge. You installed it. You used it in the dark. You sent the feedback that actually shapes the next build. Thank you.
iOS update coming soon
An iOS update is on the way. We are finishing that pass and will push when it is ready — no fake ship date. Keep the app updated when the prompt hits.
October / spooky season
The big October update is still cooking. One thing we can say out loud: Teams — investigate with your crew, not just solo. There will be other surprises for spooky season. We are keeping a few of those quiet until they are closer. Worth the wait.
Thanks
You are not just downloading an app. You are helping build something that has never existed in this field before. Whether you share research data, run sessions offline, or just follow along — thank you.
