Electronic Voice Phenomena. You record a quiet room. On playback you hear speech that was not heard live. That file is the evidence. The room is just a room until you listen back.
EVP recorder, not a ghost box toy
Most spirit box and ghost box apps spit a word list and call it a session. JuJu records the microphone. That is an EVP recorder. The frequency scanner sweeps bands the way a spirit box does, with EMF on the same timeline. Then Estep Loop reverses the file. Different tool. Same job: listen to what was actually in the room.
Sarah Estep
Sarah Estep (1928–2008) spent decades recording and logging EVP. She ran the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena. Investigators still use her classes of voice and her habit of reversing the tape. That reverse listen is why JuJu’s tool is called Estep Loop.

How to record
Sit still. Ask one question. Leave silence. Stop the recorder. Play it back. Reverse it in Estep Loop if you want a second pass. Tag the session. Do not decide in the field that you heard a ghost. Review the file later.
